Tea Corporation Pty. Ltd* is the Australian owned company founded by Tea Merchant Barbara Harper in 1996.

It was the global Renaissance of Tea that caught Tea Corporation* founder Barbara Harper's attention. It was through her passion and yearning to learn more about the simple yet complex world of tea that the doors of privilege to many of the world tea masters opened to her. Long and enduring relationships were subsequently formed with the foremost tea growers and merchants' world wide.

It was through these relationships that Barbara fast built a reputation as a Tea Merchant of high integrity and knowledge. The commitment and attention by Tea Corporation's Tea Masters in Japan, China, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and India to providing the freshest and tastiest single estate and blended teas truly set the company’s product a part from the others.

In late 2003 the operation and assets of Tea Corporation* was acquired by the newly registered company, Tea Corporation International Pty. Ltd.

Barbara has not been involved in the business of Tea Corporation International Pty. Ltd since June 2005.
